Work-Life Balance for 911

  • CAPCOG TRAINING CENTER BLDG 310-CEDAR TRAINING ROOM-Austin, TX 8600 Burleson Road Austin, Texas, 78719 United States (map)

Work-life balance as a concept is widely misunderstood across emergency telecommunications and, therefore, is practiced ineffectively, if at all. This unique, one-day class challenges participants to examine the assumptions upon which their approach to work-life balance is built and then provides guidance on creating an alternative approach to it. This includes exploring needs, values, priorities, boundaries, and other critical areas.

ABOUT THE CLASS

Areas to be addressed include:

  • Time Management

  • Stress Management

  • Setting Boundaries

  • Effective Communication
